Around the world nearly 17.9 million of death occurs due to Cardiovascular Disease. Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) is the name for the group of disorders of heart and blood vessels, and includes some of the risk factors like high blood pressure, diabetes, heredity, and high cholesterol. Currently there are no proven intersections that reduce the risk of CVD. To identify the risk factors, modern technology is used to overcome the risk. It is very difficult to predict CVD in the earlier stage. In the field of Data mining and machine learning techniques, the medical practitioner has gained a lot of observations. This paper summarizes the pros and cons which have developed for the CVD people. Along with that, it also introduces a better performance comparison of different techniques. Finally, it describes the future work in this domain.
