Abstract
Significance Our findings indicate that interferon signaling induces metabolic alterations in pancreas cancer cells which can be visualized in vivo by noninvasive 3′-deoxy-3′-[ 18 F]fluorothymidine positron emission tomography (PET) imaging. Therefore, PET imaging may have utility as a pharmacodynamic readout in the translation of emerging interferon-inducing therapies, including STING agonists, for cancer therapy.
