Abstract

The Au-modified α-Fe 2 O 3 was prepared using facile microwave-assisted method. The sensor based on 7% mol Au-modified α-Fe 2 O 3 presented the highest sensitivity. Electron transfer from Au NPs to α-Fe 2 O 3 increases the number of oxygen-active species.
