Abstract
Electrochemical CO 2 reduction using CuZn nanocubes boosted ethanol selectivity when pulsed in the oxidation regime of zinc, while time-resolved operando techniques uncovered the key roles of dynamic zinc oxide formation and hydroxide coverage.
