Abstract

In this study, analysis of density functional theory calculations shows that the Mn 2+ doping between VO 6 layers functions as a “structural pillar,” and Mn 2+ in the layer can boost the conductivity of VO 2 ·0.2H 2 O and hold high specific capacity.
