Abstract
Confronted with recurring obstacles to accessing health information in rural areas of Sub-Saharan Africa, this research aims to facilitate the dissemination of awareness messages among isolated communities through an embedded 5G mobile network. The methodology employs an SDR infrastructure for targeted transmission of audio content in local languages. The results show end-to-end connectivity between 5G equipment and the sending of messages through a dedicated web application. These findings underscore the potential of this embedded technology to overcome geographical and linguistic barriers. This solution would significantly improve the dissemination of vital instructions during epidemics in rural Africa. Larger-scale validations are necessary. Future work will focus on exploring the economic viability and the tangible impact on health information accessibility following deployment.
