Properties of Reinforced Concrete Beams Containing Recycled Aggregate

Abstract
This investigation was carried out for the purpose of practical application of recycled aggregate concrete as structural concrete. Reinforeced concrete beams were tested with respect to bending, shearing and bonding under the varied condition of aggregate of different types and method of reinforcement. The results clarified that in case recycled aggregate concrete containing recycled aggregate within 30 %, the properties are nealy same as those of the reinforced concrete beam using sand-gravel concrete.
