Abstract

Broadband near-infrared emission and strong thermal stability are achieved in novel Sr 2 ZnAl 22 O 36 :Cr 3+ phosphors through site-engineered Cr 3+ incorporation, and Cr 3+ –Cr 3+ pairing supporting night vision.
