Abstract

A “Li-rich Ni-rich” cathode material design strategy was demonstrated by Li 1+ y Ni (3−5 y )/3 Mo 2 y /3 O 2 as a proof of concept, showing an intergrowth of layered LiNiO 2 -rich and disordered Li 4 MoO 5 -rich phases with excellent cycling stability.
