Abstract

Endogenous O 2 can be continuously generated by the catalysis of Ce in the lattice of CeO 2 to enhance 1 O 2 production via a type II PDT (energy transfer), and many other ROS (such as O 2 − and ·OH) can be produced via a type I PDT (electron transfer).
