Abstract

suppressed infection of HSV-1 (DNA virus) or Sendai virus (RNA virus) into human macrophages by enhancing antiviral immunity. Our finding highlights a beneficial role of Mn in nucleic-acid-based preventive or therapeutic reagents against infectious diseases.
