Abstract
Microwave-induced oxidation, as a new, efficient and green technology, is favored by researchers for its advantage of fast, high efficiency and no secondary pollution. It is known as “green chemistry” for its characteristics of reducing energy consumption and pollution. The representative results review the research progress of microwave-induced oxidation technology in the treatment of organic wastewater and volatile organic compounds, hydrogen production and combination with other technologies to induce oxidation, and the development direction and prospects of microwave-induced oxidation technology have been summarized in this paper.
