Abstract

We designed and fabricated self-supporting hybrid-metal (hydroxyl) fluoride [Co x Fe y (OH)F] nanosheet arrays on nickel foam through a one-step hydrothermal method. Co 0.21 Fe 0.28 (OH)F is simultaneously used as cathode and anode in a two-electrode cell for overall water splitting.
