Multicolor AIE-active photoswitches with improved fatigue resistance by introducing asymmetric photoactive units

Abstract
A general asymmetric design strategy for the construction of tetraarylethene-based photoswitches was proposed, which can improve the fatigue resistance and easily achieve multicolor photochromism and fluorescence switching of the photoswitches.
