Abstract

The article discusses the issues of charging storage batteries using a transformer-resonant circuit, where a capacitor connected in parallel between the phases of a three-phase power supply is used to compensate for the negative section of the characteristics of a three-element oscillatory circuit. The batteries are charged from a multi-output three- phase matching transformer, which makes it possible to increase the charging power. The charging current stabilization mode is provided with compensation of the negative section of the resonant circuit characteristic.
