Synthesis, crystal structure, DFT, and photovoltaic studies of BaCeCuS<sub>3</sub>

Abstract
Single crystals and a polycrystalline sample of BaCeCuS 3 were synthesized and characterized. The semiconducting BaCeCuS 3 shows ultralow thermal conductivity (0.32 W m −1 K −1 at 773 K) and is promising for thermoelectric and photovoltaic applications.
