Real-Time Demonstration of 2.4Tbps (200Gbps/) Bidirectional Coherent DWDM-PON Enabled by Coherent Nyquist Subcarriers

Abstract
We demonstrate real-time 2.4Tbps bidirectional coherent DWDM-PON (12×200Gbps/) over 100km SMF, enabled by multiplexing Nyquist subcarriers. Further, through proof-of-concept experiments, we show the advantage of coherent subcarrier aggregation in next-generation point-to-multipoint bidirectional access networks.
