Abstract
A series of Cr 3+ -activated near-infrared luminescent materials were successfully prepared by using [Zn 2+ -Ge 4+ ] and [Ga 3+ -Ga 3+ ] co-unit substitutions, with the peak luminescence tuned from 713 to 767 nm and the FWHM extended from 92 to 155 nm.
