Analysis of SAW Slowness Shape on I.H.P. SAW Structures

Abstract
This paper investigates how the slowness shape changes with the structural parameters in I.H.P. SAW structures. First, the slowness curve under longitudinal resonance condition is estimated by finite-element simulation. Next, complete slowness surface and imaginary branches of dispersion curve can be studied with extended thin-plate model. Finally, slowness shape is quantitatively studied for different I.H.P. SAW structures parameters.
