Abstract

Model calculations indicate that the increasement of U eff becomes tiny when N–Dy–N angle is large. Thus, the construction of near-linear two-coordinate dysprosium(III) SMMs with high U eff and T B using bulky imidazolin-2-iminato ligands is feasible.
