Abstract

Fractional order filters are the emerging area for design of the filters for producing the best performance in the field of electronic circuits and systems. In this paper, a High-pass fractional order Sallen-Key filter is being studied using two fractional order capacitors FC 1 and FC 2 . Where, the orders of the capacitors FC1 and FC 2 vary as 0.1 ≤ α ≤ 1.0 and 0.1 ≤ β ≤ 1.0 respectively. The proposed filter circuit is being implemented in MATLAB/Simulink and their mathematical equations are being obtained in s-domain. Thereafter, the magnitude and phase equations are being derived. Here, both frequency and time domain analysis are being resulted and analysed.
