Abstract
Grid Connected Solar PV (GCSPV) systems are being increasingly used to meet the energy gap between demand and supply around the globe. The system is installed at New Delhi in National Capital Region (NCR), Northern India. Different types of MPPT topologies have been considered to get optimum performance of GCSPV system in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment. A comparative analysis in terms of output power, voltage, and current, duty cycle, settling time, rise time, peak overshoot and first peak under resistive load of different trackers connected to system has carried out in this paper. From the experimental analysis it is found that the total energy generated during one observed year is 4.15 MWh and the PV module performance parameter, converter efficiency and performance ratio are found to be 13.48 %, 92.99 % and 0.79 respectively. From obtained analysis, we may easily specify and rightly choose the MPPT Algorithms to be introduced for our specified SPV system within the production improvement method of it.
