Abstract
Two alien harmful species, the tropical bed bug Cimex hemipterus (Fabricius, 1803) (Cimicidae) and the western conifer seed bug Leptoglossus occidentalis Heidemann, 1910 (Coreidae), are recorded from Voronezh oblast (city of Voronezh) for the first time. A key for the identification of C. hemipterus and the cosmopolitan bed bug C. lectularius Linnaeus, 1758 is given. L. occidentalis lives in urban conditions in the forest-steppe zone of the European part of Russia, but it was not found in natural ecosystems there.
