A Review on Cloud Computing services, concerns, and security risk awareness in the context of Digital Transformation

Abstract
Cloud computing technologies provide flexibility and scalability at such a high level that makes them a prerequisite for all digital transformation strategies. Due to this fact, most organizations are required to shift from traditional computing technologies to cloud-oriented ones. Despite the appealing advantages of cloud computing, there are also several issues, mostly concerning the complexity of its structure and the new security risks that are directly associated with it. This paper reviews and analyzes the key attributes of cloud computing along with current security vulnerabilities and potential security threats. It also reviews the impact of the above concerns based on surveys and reports that further justify their impact in actual production environments.
