Abstract
3D and 4D printing are trailblazing technologies for producing precise and accelerated objects made of various materials, including plastic and metal. Dentists may now go for custom-specific design and print surgery-assisting drill guides, permanent/temporary dental crowns (DC) and bridges, implants, prosthodontic appliances, and mouthguards, thanks to recent 3D and 4D printing technology breakthroughs in dentistry and maxillofacial surgery. In this case study, different 3D printing technologies for use in veterinary dentistry (especially for canines) are discussed.
