Abstract
Abstract This paper presents the next level of downhole trajectory automation and control of RSS tools for drilling a consistent curve and placing the well within the given geometrical target. This method transfers the decision-making process to a smart downhole control system that reduces inconsistencies due to human inputs, formation uncertainties and produces an improvement in borehole quality.
