Exploring Performance Disparities: A Comparative Study of LabGuard Web and Android Applications in Lab Equipment Maintenance

Abstract
The research aims to explore performance dispari- ties between LabGuard's web and Android applications in the context of lab equipment maintenance. The primary objective is to identify the platform with the fastest response time. This study entails a meticulous analysis to optimize application performance. The research involved examining the response times of LabGuard's web application (N=10) and Android application (N=10), achieving a statistical power of 80% using G power. Analysis revealed that the response time of the web application (67.70 ms) outperformed that of the Android application (89.50 ms). Statistical analysis indicated a significant difference between the response times of the two platforms, with p=0.000 (p¡0.05). The findings suggest that LabGuard's web application exhibits faster response times compared to its Android counterpart in the context of lab equipment maintenance. This highlights the importance of platform choice in optimizing application performance for enhanced user experience.
