Abstract

A novel Cu( i )-based POMOC catalyzes the selective oxidation of 2,3,6-trimethylphenol to TMBQ, reaching 99% conversion and 97% selectivity in merely 4 minutes with a remarkable TOF of 4125 h − ¹.
