Towards photoassociation processes of ultracold rubidium trimers

Abstract
The authors theoretically investigate the prospects for photoassociation of three rubidium atoms, with emphasis on the symmetries that drive Jahn-Teller and related effects. The results could provide experimental guidance for the creation of ultracold rubidium trimer molecules.
