Abstract

We synthesized two new chlorinated small molecule donors, named SM1-α-Cl and SM1-β-Cl. The SM1-β-Cl:Y6 blend film displays better molecular stacking properties and charge transfer (CT) state yield, resulting in a better photovoltaic performance.
