Abstract
Abstract In recent years, increasing research attention has been directed to structurally diverse pyrazole derivatives, many of which have become commercially available drugs with antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, analgesis, antihyperglycemic, hypoglycemic, antineoplastic, antidepressive activities, etc. Due to their wide range of biological activities, pyrazole derivatives can be used to treat a range of diseases, such as cancers, respiratory diseases, infections, and neurological diseases. This review summarizes recent advances in the use of the pyrazole scaffold and provides pharmacologists with a road map for developing novel preclinical and clinical pyrazole-based drugs.
