Abstract

The one-pot green synthesis of 1,4 dihydropyridines using nanostructured AlCl 3 @ZnO under solvent-free ambient temperature conditions has been effectively accomplished. The proposed reaction protocol is sustainable, environmentally-friendly and offers economic viability.
