Abstract

This study explores the creation and application of a bus location tracking system customized to meet the particular requirements of university students. The study looks into the difficulties students have using the campus transportation systems and suggests a fix that makes use of mobile apps and GPS technology. The system aims to enhance efficiency and reliability in public transportation by providing accurate and instantaneous location information. The paper delves into the technical aspects of combining GPS for location tracking and RFID for passenger identification, offering a comprehensive analysis of the system's design, implementation, and performance. The racking system's architecture and implementation are described in detail in the paper, with a focus on how well it can give students the most efficient routes, real-time bus location updates, and estimated arrival times. Additionally, the study assesses how the system affects overall student satisfaction, transportation-related stress reduction, and improved mobility on campus. The results provide useful information for managing campus transportation and a workable framework for utilizing technology to improve student commuter experiences.
