Abstract

A high-loading Ga-exchanged MFI zeolite was developed for efficient ethane dehydrogenation. Its high catalytic performance is ascribed to both the low amount of Brønsted acid sites and the major formation of [GaH 2 ] + ions among isolated Ga hydrides.
