Abstract

In this article, we introduce traveling wave solutions of the Gilson–Pickering equation using two simple methods. Furthermore, we present a numerical study of the Gilson–Pickering equation using the finite difference method. Also, the local truncation error and stability analysis for the difference scheme are presented. We justify the accuracy of the obtained results by exhibiting illustrative tables and proper graphs.
