Abstract

Abstract Kaniadakis entropy, an important extension of the Boltzmann-Gibbs entropy, was proposed some years ago. Inspired by a dual Renyi entropy, in this paper we have suggested a dual Kaniadakis entropy and we applied this approach to analyze the thermodynamics of black holes. We have obtained an equipartition theorem and, after that, we derived the temperature and the heat capacity. The values of κ and mass M will show if the black hole can be thermally stable or not.
