Abstract

Electrical mishaps to linemen are on the rise these days as a result of a lack of communication when maintaining electrical wires. This initiative provides a solution to this problem by ensuring the safety of linemen. The control (ON/OFF) of the electrical wires is delegated to the lineman in this suggested system. This paper presents the project about is set up such that maintenance personnel or linemen to switch in or out of the electrical line, you must login. If an electrical line has a fault, the technician enters the password to switch that off electricity supply to the line and fixes it peacefully. After the repair, the electrician enters the passcode to switch over the power supply to the line. An ACS 712 sensor monitors the current and volt-age in the transmission systems and shows data on a 16X2 LCD display. The LCD panel also shows the state of the transmission line, such as ON/OFF. The Arduino UNO is used in this project. Only approved individuals have access to this. The circuit is automatically triggered if there is a problem in the transmission line. This article discuss the IOT based password secured residential distribution transformer for technical safety and materials used in the magnetic core of a transformer.
