Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma after Dupilumab Use: A Real-World Pharmacovigilance Study of the FDA Adverse Event Reporting System

Abstract
Dupilumab, a mAb targeting the IL-4Rα subunit, emerged in 2017 as a promising intervention for atopic dermatitis (AD). Three clinical trials led to dupilumab’s approval; no patients were diagnosed with lymphoma or cutaneous lymphoma during these trials (Blauvelt et al, 2017; Simpson et al, 2016). However, an increasing number of case reports have described biopsy-proven cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) diagnosis or exacerbation after dupilumab initiation (Park et al, 2023; Visconti et al, 2023).
