Abstract
• 30 antibiotics were monitored in the full-scale DWTPs with and without UF process. • Antibiotic levels showed seasonal variations, and sulfonamides were the most abundant. • Ozonation had weak removal capacity for quinolones and antifungal antibiotics. • DWTP with UF process had an average of 21% increase in antibiotics removal efficiency. • Health risk assessment revealed UF exhibited the higher removal for antibiotics RQs.
