Solvent-free synthesis of FAU zeolite from coal fly ash

Abstract
FAU zeolite could be successfully synthesized from coal fly ash (CFA) under solvent-free conditions, and it shows excellent CO 2 adsorption capacity and even better Ca 2+ and Mg 2+ ion exchange capacity.
