Abstract

At present, the load diagram of pumping wells mostly uses load sensors to obtain load data. However, the load sensor is prone to mechanical fatigue during the measurement process, which results in measurement data drift distortion and large errors. This paper presents an electrical parameter measurement method to improve this problem. The electrical indicator diagram is obtained by measuring the instantaneous input power of the driving motor of the pumping unit, calculating the transmission loss in real time, and establishing the mathematical model of the polished rod load and displacement of the pumping unit. The correctness and effectiveness of the electrical indicator diagram were verified by field experiments.
