Abstract
Upon the introduction of Zn<sup>2+</sup>, the sample transforms from a pure phase (CoFe-PBA) to a three-phase composite (CoFeZn-PBA), leading to a sharply increased Co<sup>3+</sup>/Co<sup>2+</sup> ratio and an outstanding OER performance.
