Abstract
polysaccharides (CGLPs), analyzed their physical and chemical properties, and then applied them to the periodontitis model to verify whether they have an inhibitory effect on mouse periodontitis. CGLP was determined to be a heteropolysaccharide with dextran as the main component. Its molecular weight was 17.40 kDa. In vivo experiments in mice showed that CGLP can inhibit the alveolar bone loss and reduced inflammation caused of periodontitis by regulating the expression of the inflammatory factors IL-1β, TNF-α, and IL-10 in a concentration-dependent manner.
