Abstract
Transparent glass ceramic embedded with Ba<sub>4</sub>Y<sub>3</sub>F<sub>17</sub>: Yb<sup>3+</sup>, Er<sup>3+</sup> nanocrystals can be realised as a promising temperature sensor.
