Abstract
In this article we evaluate the impact of using intelligent reflecting surfaces in a diffuse visible light communications link. We propose a propagation model in order to consider different types of reflective surfaces, namely, diffuse, specular and glossy. Computational simulations where carried out in order to determine the impact of using IRS for diffuse VLC link. It was demonstrated that the usage of IRS enhance the channel impulse response of the VLC link.
