Abstract

This study explores the effects of transition metal (TM) ions—Ni, Co, Mn, and Fe—on the solid-electrolyte interphase (SEI) formation and electrochemical behavior of graphite and silicon (Si) anodes in lithium-ion batteries (LIBs).
