Quantitative and high-resolution mechanical pressure sensing functions of mechanochromic fluorenylidene-acridane

Abstract
A ground-state mechanochromic molecule formed into a film exhibited an absorption color change by mechanical pressure. A mechanochromic resin containing the molecule showed a reversible color change from green to yellow upon contact with ethanol.
