Accelerating black holes and spinning spindles

Abstract
The authors study accelerated, electrically and magnetically charged black holes in four-dimensional AdS space. These solutions are known to have singularities besides the (defining) singularities at the centers of the black holes behind the event horizon. Remarkably, by embedding the black-hole solutions in eleven-dimensional (super) gravity, the authors find a parameter space for which these additional singularities are eliminated.
