Abstract
This article provides an overview of research on SF <sub xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">6</sub> replacement gases for electric power equipment, of existing SF <sub xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">6</sub> -free technologies, and of worldwide developments in legislation to support these new technologies.
