Abstract This book represents a reader-friendly journey through all the key aspects of beer and its brewing. The nature of the global brewing business is addressed, with a detailed analysis of who brews what and how much and who consumes the most of this product. Having covered the 8,000-year history of brewing, the malting and brewing processes are described, and the rich diversity of beer styles, both ales and lagers of many types, is covered.
